Amey Banarse

Amey Banarse is the VP of Data Solutions Engineering at Yugabyte. He is passionate about data analytics, transactional applications, and cloud-native technologies. In his current role, he collaborates with Fortune 500 leadership to architect their critical business applications with scalable microservices and a geo-distributed, fault-tolerant data backend. Prior to joining Yugabyte, he was Advisory Data Architect at Pivotal and has helped enterprise customers extend their analytical capabilities using Pivotal Big Data platforms. He is originally from Mumbai and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania(UPenn) with a Master's degree in Computer Networking & Systems.
